fan probably is full of dust. blow it out with air. After it runs a while it gets how and shuts itself down til it cools, and then it runs again. you can get canned air at walmart or computer stores.
u should try to purchase a fan for laptops, they sell them at any staples, wlamart, kmart, etc..., depending on the money u spend on ur laptop it probably don't have a built in fan or either the fan has stopped working, but i've found the laptop fans work good and aren't that expensive.
Normally if the fan is bad and failing the laptop will run hot (overheat) and shut down. If yours is not doing that, then you are fine. Sometimes the fans will turn on and off as needed.
1.The fan should run as long as the laptop is on to keep your laptop's internal components cool. 2.Try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver
sounds like the fan in your laptop is failing or is damaged, when you run graphic intensive applications and the fan turns on is that then you hear the noise if so it is your fan and you should see about getting it replaced because the components in your laptop will over heat and stop working.
you need do some thing follow:
1) clean the cpu fan and sink(around there dirdy)
2) check the cpu fan is running and stop ok when power on if running go next
3) check the cpu fan, is there any running and stop then see it run again before the laptop freezen?
4) if the fan not running again before freezen that your fan control circuit out of work on the motherboard need to repair
5) if the fan running control ok that the fan can run and stop and run again. you have to add a EXT cooling base under the laptop
hope to help you solve it
