Question about Konica Minolta Di3010 Di3010f Drum Unit Type 305
Can the counter be reset or does the drum need to be replaced? How hard is that?

The drum, cleaning blade and developer are all replaced at the same time, no but you can damage the drum and or sensor

Did you buy a whole new drum unit, or just change the cartridge? If so, the fuse may still be blown. Also, you may need to empty the spent toner out of the old cartridge.

1) Reset the PC/life; I/C Life and DV counter and run F8.
2) The same than before but change the PC drum.

Reset it, start it with the right door open, go to service mode, clear the counters for drum and developer and go to functions menu. Close the right door and start immediately the F8 function. It should work.

The best way to reset the counter is to replace the fuse on the underside of the printer drum. That is not hard to do, but you have to be careful not to break the plastic tabs holding the original fuse in place.
