Question about Dometic Rooftop RV Air Conditioner

Older Penguin roof shroud, new style fit?

I have a '95 Dometic Penguin 600315.321. The OEM roof shroud is 3102515.008, .024, .032. Has a flat top with a sloped front. Question is: will the new style roof shroud fit?

I just replaced my two 620315.321 shrouds with the newer style without any problems. I went to the Camping World site (and called them) with model no. and they knew what to send me. I also found that they had the best price at $79.00 (member price) with free shipping.

I didnt check your shroud part no.s, but think you will be ok if you do as I did.

sounds like it is low on freon have someone check with gage and add more if nedded.

It sounds like it is the start cap on the compressor and no you can't add refrigerant to it the can you have is 134a and the fittings are not the same

Where can I find a shroud for my 2003 model 59516.331 duo-therm high efficiency Dometic roof mounted dometic RV air conditioner?

Try googeling Camping world ,Adventurerv ,or best rv and truck supplies ,these are all in the USA who deliver to Australia.I usually find that it is much cheaper to buy parts like this from the US even with the delivery charge.

You know what, I have never ran into that yet in 15 years, so I think your best bet would be to go to, (dometicusa.com) and send then a quick inquiry to confirm, what would be required, they are usually pretty helpful believe it or not.

I have a 1990 Winnebago on a Toyota with a vent in the center of roof. Will the Dometic A/C fit and is wiring already in place usually?

I'm guessing it's already wired to there, breaker panel may even say, but if you just pull shroud down & look along framing for hole or even cable sticking out , or perhaps a plate/cover beside vent, then you'll know for sure.
