Question about Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX Personal Web Camera
I require a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX User Manual to understand all the procedures in order to operate this Web Cam properly. Some Genius from Logitech decided that 4 small pages in a small booklet was sufficent instruction for this Web Cam.
1st You download Webcam Driver.
Logitech QuickCam Driver
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

I face the same problems re Manual. CD is only Microsoft compatible. I'm a Linux user. Logitech good product,,,,,,,,poor support

There should be a full manual on the CD in pdf format which accompanied the Webcam.. the 4 page guide was most likely the Quick start guide

I have the same problem, and there is no user guide on the installation cd. Pretty poor marketing! You just have to fumble your way through or get mired in the online support links, or perhaps better yet, return the unit and look for a product that puts the customer first!
how to use accessories
I agree, after I opened the package and set things up I wanted to learn all the features and how they work, but they don't seem to want you to know how to use their product. I have tried to find a user manual online but have been unsuccessful.
