Re: My easy note laptop will not start up!
This can happen if some newly installed hardware behaves unexpectedly or one of ur existing has developed a problem. To confirm just run system restore.Follwo the following procedure:
then click on launch system restore and select a restore point. If this fixes the problem fine.
Other wise download "driverscan"(search it in google)and run it.It will show you if there is any compatibility issues or problems.

this is often related to a possible motherboard problem. Try these steps: turn it off, remove the battery, and AC adapter, then press and hold the power button for about 5 to 10 seconds. Once done, reconnect at least the adapter , turn on the laptop and as soon as the Dell logo shows up, tap F2 a few times to enter System Setup (BIOS screen). From there, go to the Maintenance category, and select Load Defaults, press Enter. Press ESC, then select Save/Exit, restart the computer and see how it goes.
you are most likely getting a BSOD with a stop error code of 0x0000007B which is caused by the Windows XP CD that you are using doesn't have the SATA Hard Drive controller driver needed to recognize and utilize the hard drive. If Lenovo has XP drivers for this model then they should have a SATA driver (roughly 394k) that will need to be loaded FROM A FLOPPY DISKETTE during the boot to XP. (XP Requires the driver to either be slipstreamed into the CD or loaded from a floppy diskette. Trying to load the controller driver USB or a different CD will not work)
it could be a problem with the windows operating system... you can try going to safe mode first by continuously pressing F8 before windows starts to load upon turning on your laptop. if it works then you can use the windows operating system disc to repair the problem and if it doesn't work then you might need to reformat and reinstall the OS...
sounds like a registry error try to start in safe mode if it does the same thing then when it starts to boot and says xp and the bar starts to move hold down the on off button till it goes off and let it set for a bit (let the hard drive stop turning) and reboot should send it into chkdisk whick will correct the registry error
what i can help this...
you select safe mode and remove video driver and reboot your laptop...if it inside the windows normally, try to remove some unused toolbar in add and remove programs..and check also for virus scan..and reboot computer..
