Usually synching requires one device started before the other, meaning that you may want to power on the transmitter, then turn on the heli and try the heli first, then the transmitter second if that doesn't work. Always charge NiMH batteries before using them for the first time, or if they have not been used for a long period.
Always charge sets of batteries (2 or 4) together.
Do not use alkaline batteries unless it is absolutely necessary. In some cases, alkaline batteries may have a shorter service life than NiMH. Alkaline battery performance is limited, especially at low temperatures. The use of NiMH batteries is recommended.
AA manganese (Zinc-Carbon) should not be used. hey have limited power and can leak in a short time, destroying a camera.

Try re-binding the transmitter, and see if that solves your problem. If not, the receiver board may have to be replaced.

Sounds like blown flash bulb.
Needs to be replaced.

Try resetting the camera once ... remove the batteries and press the power button for few seconds and put ur batteries back !!

It sound like an on/off switch issue. Best thing will be contact HP appropriate service center and ask how much will cost to repair it. It might be that the reparing cost will be such that it will not be worth to repair it.
