Picture looks like it is blurred as in 3d

Hi, Since you did not provide a model# for your TV I will guess the picture looks like a 3D shape. If the Red, Green and Blue colors are separated from each other then, the convergence circuit is the problem. The repair may cost between $185 to over $200.

If your TV looks 3D, warped, or distorted it likely has a convergenge problem.
If however it just looks dull, washed out, redish, greenish, or blueish or if it looks like objects on the screen have halos the fluid in the lens has soured.

you need to change the convergence chips that are attached to a heat sink, they are the two black chips with a lot of legs on them.

Thats a common problem with rear projection TVs which means the convergence ICs have failed. Replace both ICs and that should takke care of the problem, be sure to check the feed resistors also.

sounds like the coolant if it appears as halos. If it appears like a 3D picture its the convergence ICs.

rounded? hmmm....it does sound like maybe some coolant liquid may have leaked out of one of the tubes causing that type of effect. Get it checked out.
