SOURCE: frigidaire diswasher detergent dispenser

the first thing to make sure is that the incoming water temp is at least 120 degrees.the next thing to do is check your water level and pressure when running if the water pressure is not high enough then you may have to replace the main wash motor.
if you do not think there is enough water in the bottom of the unit after it has stopped fillng add a few more cups to bottom and continue the wash cycle.
if there is no change in the performance replace the main wash motor

SOURCE: my frigidaire fdb1100rhm dishwasher detergent

Check for correct water pressure to the dishwasher. Could be a restriction in the 1/4" water supply line.

Gltf1670as1can you use powder detergent in ?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that you want to know if you can use powder detergent in your Frigidaire washer, model# GLTF1670AS1. Below are the advised steps for the detergent dispenser of your washer.

• Add measured detergent to the detergent compartment of the dispenser drawer.
• Detergent is flushed from the dispenser at the beginning of the cycle. Either powdered or liquid detergent can be used. Note: Liquid detergent will drain into the washer drum as it is added.
• Low sudsing detergent is recommended for this washer. Use the manufacturer's recommended amount.
• If low sudsing detergent is not available, a reduced amount of regular detergent may be used. Because
reducing the amount of detergent may reduce cleaning, it is important to pretreat stains, sort carefully by color and soil level, and avoid overloading.
• Detergent usage may need to be adjusted for water temperature, water hardness, size and soil level of the load.
• For best results, avoid oversudsing.

Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Detergent won't enter wash cycle

Clean the dispenser first and see if you noticed any blockages and then clean the unit itself in the dispenser area and use a little less than recommended and see if you notice any changes.

Frigidaire front load washer (GLTF1040ASO) is leaking water by the detergent dispenser area. Any suggestions on what this could be?

This is usually caused by solidified detergent blocking the water ways in the detergent dispenser.

Check the inside of the dispenser to make sure the outlet holes are not blocked.

Most dispensers can be removed for cleaning check your appliance instructions for details.

Fab. softener dispenser will not empty

I had this exact problem, with the exact same washer (but the Kenmore version), and it was solved by replacing (Not sure the exact name of the part) but its the plastic Detergent Dispenser housing, that you can see when u remove the Detergent Dispenser draw. There was a crack in mine,,, and the softner would either fully, or dispense half into the first rinse cycle.

DETERGENT DISPENSER NOT EMPTYING ON DD603SS

Hi- It sounds like the solenoid on the dispenser is not changing the water diverter to the wash portion (cup) of the dispenser. You most likely need a new dispenser. Probably best to have a Tech out to change it.

Detergent trouble

hi there,

sounds like the detergent dispenser is not working properly.

are the rest of your dishes clean? in other words, is there any food residue on them?

check the dispenser and make sure that there is nothing visibly wrong with it.

if the problem still persists, replace the dispenser.
