Question about SanDisk Sansa e200 MP3 Player
My Sansa e200 has recently started playing up and wont copy music properly from the My Music folder. Everytime I connect it to the computer to charge it or add music, when i disconnect it and check it it has made copies of the track names that are stored in the Unknown folder, and they are also 'Bad Tracks'. More recently I re added loads of music only to find it had added it all into the unknown folder and none of it would play. I dont know if it is something to do with the usb adaptor we have got because the high speed adaptor at the front of the pc has broken. I dont know why it has started doing this because for the past two months that i have had it its worked fine. Is it a good idea to reset the whole system and start again from scratch? Please help.
Thats probably the best idea to erase everything and start anew. You can format the device in My Computer>Device Name (e250)>Right Click on it and select Format. This will erase everything on your device. If you are getting Bad Track from just a few songs, just delete them as they may be corrupt. Also, you need to keep some free space on the device to create the database. Keep at least 6MB free for every GB. Best of Luck.
