Question about Garden
John deere model #LA115 does not turn over past the compression stroke unless i turn it by had a little past the compression stroke. Then it will start up.
I'm guessing a "weak battery" is the problem. Sometimes a fresh new battery can make a piece of equipment run "like new"..... Also, you might make sure battery is high enough capacity... If all this does you no good, I'd guess you have a "tired" or worn out starter...

Open the hood and you should find a yellow push button, turn the key on,then push and hold the button in for 5 seconds or until the service reminder goes out.If yours is an early model with no push button then it will go out by it's self after 5 hours are put on the hour meter.

have you had the r/h wheel off at any time ? please check that you have the axle / hub key in the r/h wheel hub
if it is and the l/h one is in as well and the bypass rod is disengaged and it still does it
might be a internal hydro box problem
search - la115
select pictorial , then select transmission , and trans page will open up with a picture of trans think model is tuff torq k51 but not totally sure - model of box will be on trans somewhere
might pay for your local shop to take a look
