If you have the disk... The drivers will still not install correctly using the usual method. Do this: Go to the system applet and find the yellow flag indicating the device is not installed correctly. Click on it and go to the box that says "Update the drivers". Put the disk in your CD/DVD drive and "kill" the inquiry box that comes up. Now tell device manager to find the drivers on your computer and point it to the CD drive. Click Install and they will install fine. You wont even have to re-boot probably.

The disc supplied with sony cybershot P200 application can't instal on windows 7. Is there any solution for this? Regards/Ash

The drivers needed to connect your Sony camera to a computer and transfer files are already included in the operating system, so you don't have to install anything. If there is a software on that disk to enable you to edit, sort pictures, etc, you could try to Troubleshoot compatibility, by right-clicking on setup.exe located on your cd.

Wt software shld be installed on my lapy to connect to my lapy?

Any burning software will work what ever brand you chose, I preferre Nero, but windows Vista and 7 have software already built in to recognise most all cameras. So you don't really need anything els unless you chose. Wasn't there software included in the camera? there shouls have been a CD or DVD that came with the camera. You can also check the Canon website for more info and software

L have the cd but it will not download on my comptuer

If you have any other camera software, make sure you un-install it.

Place the disk in the Cd-rom. Open "my computer" and double click on the cd-rom drive that contains the disk. Double click on setup.exe.

This software takes approximately 15 minutes to install. Once installed, reboot the computer.

If you are still having problems; disable firewall and anti-virus before you install. After installation, enable the firewall and anti-virus and answer yes to any incoming/outgoing signals that your firewall tries to block.

You can buy an external CD drive that connects to your computer via USB and use it to install from your CD. It may be cheaper and quicker to do that it is to take the computer to get repaired.

The camera comes with 2 disks. The xtra one is a driver for Windows XP. I am in need of disk 1 but have the XP driver! I also noticed Largan's site is down.

Can I get the software on floppies?

A CD-ROM would initially be required to create floppy installation disks. This option will require 6 disks for Windows 3.x, 9 for Win 95, 98 and NT or 8 disks for a Mac installation.

My Fujifilm digital camera is connected to my computer, but the removable disk does not appear when I open "My Computer" in Windows. I have a FinePix camera and have installed the software.

If the removable disk does not appear when you open "My Computer" in Windows, it is possible that the USB drivers are not installed correctly. Update to the latest version of FinePix Viewer (including the USB drivers). To update FinePix Viewer, you must have the software from the CD-ROM bundled with the product (Utilities for FinePix) already installed. As an alternative method to updating the software, you can also reinstall the USB drivers. The USB drivers can be reinstalled by installing the software from the CD-ROM again. If the removable disk is still not displayed after the above measures have been taken, check the following: Windows system checks 1. You should be using Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP. 2. The Windows XP USB drivers are supported as standard system drivers but are only compatible with Software for FinePix versions 2.0 or later. If you are using an earlier version of the CD-ROM, an update to FinePix Viewer is required. 3. The software cannot be installed properly from "Scanners and Cameras" in the Control Panel. Digital camera checks 1. Check that the digital camera can play back images on its LCD monitor. 2. On digital cameras with the PC Camera function, select "DSC" as the USB setting. (Refer to the Owner's Manual for your camera for information on specifying the camera settings.)
