Roper Washer Wont Spin Out

So I have a Roper Washer not sure what model it is. Just know it used to get the washing job done on my clothes.
So whats happening is .... The washing machine wont go thru the spin cycle. It stops when it reaches that point. Like it will go through the rinse, then stop when it gets to the spin.

Do you know what could be the problem?

Probably a bad lid switch. Open the control panel. Disconnect the lid switch wire connector on top of the cabinet under the control panel. Make a small insulated jumper wire and insert it into the wire that is still connected to the control panel. Set the timer to spin. If it spins replace the lid switch in the cabinet. If not, replace the timer.

I have a roper Washing machine and it will wash clothes and do all the cycles but at the end of spin cycle when it's done the clothes are still soaked

99% probability that you have a blocked pump. I don't know the particular model but most have access to the pump either through a small door on the front at the bottom, or hidden behind the kick plate that runs along the bottom of the machine

My roper washing machine fails to remove enough water from clothes on last spin every thing else seems ok model RAS 7133 KQ 1

Possibly the centrifugal clutch is slipping, would need to be replaced, Go to appliance guru to see how this is done, they have step by step on this procedure.

Washer wont spin

if the coupler and clutch are ok and you can hear the motor functioning, then it appears that your transmission is bad.most of the time you will see that in the days/weeks leading up to this that your cloths were more wet than usual when you took them out of the machine. Check your owners manual for warranty information. Some machines had a 5 year warranty on the transmission or gear case as whirlpool likes to call it.

Intermittent spin is a bad transmission. It needs to be replaced. Please contact me if you need further help or leave feedback if appropriate as that is how I get paid. Thanks for letting me help you!
