Purchased new laptop and wireless mouse, first day worked great, after a week tried to use mouse again.....just not working have replaced battery no luck

I would try unplugging the usb receiver and restarting the computer.
Then plug it back in.
Sadly, with these, along with replacing the battery, that's the only option.

I am a casio fx-82MS user. i would like to know how i can convert polar form to rectangular form in my calculator

Hello,
Press [MODE] and select [1:COMP]
Press [SHIFT][MODE] and select [3:Deg]. You can also use rad if the angle you are given is in radians.
To start the conversion
Press [SHIFT][-] (Rec) screen displays Rec(
Key in the radius r , ex: 3 screen displays Rec(3
Press [SHIFT][)] (,) to enter comma separator Rec(3,
Key in the angle in degrees, ex: 57.3; screen displays Rec(3,57.3
Press ) to close parentheses; screen displays Rec(3, 57.3)
Press [=]
Screen displays
Rec(3, 57.3)
X=1.620720961
Y=2.524532346

X and Y are the values of the coordinates.

If angle is in radians, [SHIFT] [MODE][4:Rad] the command
Rec(3, Pi) gives X=-3, Y=0

I just realized that your question pertains to the FX82MS but is listed under the FX115ES (That is quite a difference) So my answer above does not concern you but I will leave it as is should anyone need the answer for the FX115ES.

Look at the enclosed screen capture for the FX82MS

How do you use the pol and rec

To avoid errors make sure that the angle unit is THE ONE required by your problem. To verify or to change the angle unit press [SIFT][MODE] and select [3: Deg] for degrees, [4:Rad] for radians, or [5:Grad] for grads.

Convert from rectangular to polar

[SHIFT][+] (Pol) . Screen displays Pol(
You enter the X-coordinate, and the Y coordinate separated by a comma, then you close the parenthesis and press [=].

Exemple: Polar coordinate of the point (1,1)
Pol( 1, 1) gives
r=1.414213562 (square root of 2)
θ=45

Here is how you enter it
Press [SHIFT][MODE][2:LineIO]
[SHIFT][POL] 1 [SHIF] [,] 1 [)] [=]

The screen displays
Pol(1,1)
r= 1.414213562
θ= 45

Convert from polar to rectangular coordinates

Rec ( radius, angle) =

Exemple: Recatngular coordinates of (r=3, θ=60°)
[SHIFT][Rec] 3 [SHIFT][,] 60 [ ) ] [=]
The screen displays
Rec(3,60)
X= 1.5
Y= 2.598076211

I have installed wireless soft ware but mouse not doing anything

Normally you don't have to install the software, your computer has tons of drivers and software already built in. When plugging it in did your pc install the drivers and say your device is installed ready to be used? If its a cordless mouse make sure the batteries are good and some of them have a learning button you have to press then use the mouse so the receiver recognizes the mouse. Also if there in interference it will cause the mouse not to work , You never want to put the rec. on top of the tower (causes interference). and if all else fails it could just be a bad mouse kit. Take and swap for another.

Can't get mouse to work when i hook it up. put rec. in mouse port ant it won't light up. the tranmitter will but the rec won't.

First replace the batteries in the mouse and insure they are inserted correctly.
Next make sure the mouse switch (if it has one) is on.
The mouse and receiver should be close enough and without obstructions to work. Once they work you can experiment with where to put the receiver as the mouse will stop working or get sluggish if the receiver is not close enough.
Next press the connect buttons on both the receiver (if it has one) and the mouse within 30 seconds of each other.
Allow about a minute to see if they connect up.
I am assuming it is not a software problem.
