My printer is connected with the help of a ethernet cable. Iam using Window XP for printing. When i enable Local Area Connection their is a pop sign on the Local Area Connection Symbol and when i connect the printer with SC-PRINT A its fine. But when i give the command of printing then tne message appears. What should I do? Also can you please give me your Phone number so that i could finish this print job. You know lots and lots of time is wasted on this printer and can you please give me the contact no. of any engineer in Dharamshala H.P So that i could finish my work faster. Thank You
Try installing the printer with a USB cable first (disconnect the LAN CABLE FIRST) and do a normal installation. Check all functions of the printer and then do a LAN printer install by going to "install or add a new printer on the control panel and then follow the instructions for adding the printer via LAN or wireless if it does support that function. I think you did the initial install backwards (LAN first instead of USB) and when you think you're done, update any software that might be available from the manufacturers site, THE ACTUAL MANUFACTURER not any other site that offers the update!) Like CNET OR FIXYA OR WHATEVER) GO DIRECTLY TO THE SITE, e.g., Canon, Epson, ETC..)

Check if you have " send Form Feed after each file" is enabled (or yes) in your print queue

A 440-1 is a black drum motor lock. The waste toner in the black pcu is backed up, more then likley. It is not easy to fix. You could replace the black pcu but it will happen again. The usual problem is oil in the main waste toner system. It clumps up the toner and clogs the part where all the waste toner comes together for entry into the waste toner bottle.

Have you tried a different driver eg. rpcs or another version of pcl?Have you checked your workstations services app to check if your print spooler is running? Also when you print a config page from the hp it will give you your network details. To eliminate your network grap a crossover cable and connect directly to the printer and test.Let me know.
