Hold down the power button for about 20 seconds, this should hard reset the phone/tablet.

Reset your Kindle.

There's a little hole inside the battery cover area. Put in a pin or paperclip end and press. The Kindle should unlock.

Polaroid A8 tablet wont turn back on turned on when I got it as a gift yesterday- shut it off... hooked it up to the PC to download Google Play so I could do the updates (all this was in the list to do when I opened it) Download from southerntelecom keeps saying Failed Installation even after numerous attempts. as a troubleshoot thru their site because of failed attempts it said to hold down Volume button & hit power button 10x to do an automatic update...Now tablet wont even turn on. Cant get ahold of them on phone- when finally got thru Ive now been on hold for 50 minutes and they close in 3 minutes! I cant even get ahold of Live Caht/Support thru their website. HELP!!!
