Motorola SB5100 the problem im having is that i have two modems in the same house, when trying both at once they do not seem to work. One has to be switched off in order for the other one to work. Even tried one modem in another house across the road but still the same problem. I believe a problem might occur if its in the same house with two modems but in another house across the street it seems weird to me, please help many thanks.

It is best to remove the dial up portions because it will help eliminate confusion within your system as to which connection to use. You will be much happier once you get hooked up with broadband....good luck.
To get new IP unplugg power for 1 minutes the plug the power back in. MAC address is a unique identifier specific to that modem. To get a new MAC address you will have to buy a new modem.
