Just bought couple of month ago, used for only three or four times then battery says low now it wont work. I use it with the car charger on

make sure green light is on the car charger and let it plugged in for awhile, then hold the power button (up to ten seconds) until it starts..if that fails

the 6000t are known to have faulty dc connectors...if your magellan gps is
not charging or will not power up, its most likely the dc powerport...i
sell these power ports and will repair them for anyone thats notable to
do it themselves.

Should be able to so long as it is set up for it, plug it in and see if the power light comes on, then leave it for an hour, at that time see if you can turn the unit on. You will at this point have your answer to your question. Make sure the computer is on though. (i know, but i didn't put that in one time and i got a nasty message from somebody, so now i put it in.)
