Question about Frigidaire FRT18B4A Top Freezer Refrigerator
Both top and bottom are not cooling. Recently transported unit home.I've cleaned it, and have had it running for more than 5hrs and still warm air is blowing out. Please help?!
If everything is running i.e. evaporator fan, condensor fan, and compressor then you have a sealed system problem. If the compressor is not running it may have a bad start device (relay and overload) or thermostat/control board (will have one or the other). I would try a new start device first if the compressor isn't running. If you put a new start device on the compressor and it doesn't start then the compressor is locked up and would be better to buy a new fridge. Hope this helps. p.s. make sure there is no frost build up on back panel in freezer.
