I just bought a (apparently new) Data Back 70 for my Minolta 7000 SLR. Unfortunately the date range only goes up to 12/31/2009. If I am going to use this, I need for it to extend into the future. I would like for the range to be adjusted so that the back will record the correct date until at least 2025

Dear Minolta friends,
I have recently bought a second hand Maxxum 7000 and a AF lens, but found the body not ocntrolling the aperture while shooting. I know 7000 has someting special. Is my problem is due to lens and body compatibility or actually the malfunction of the body. I am sure the AF lens is ok since i have tried it working with another minolta af body.
Can give me an advice?
what you do is when you go on you click on the phone in the upstairs bed room ( do this only when you log on) and it will say up the top reset clock and she can choose what date and time she wants.

Check out: Tools -> Data -> Filter -> Auto Filter.
You may want to look at the help function to get a better idea of how powerful this feature is.
Let me know if this helps.

The Minolta Maxxum 7000 uses a Minolta A mount, which is also used on the Sony Alpha series, as they bought out Minolta's technology. All Maxxum lenses should work for the most part on the Sony Alpha series of DSLR's, including the autofocus.
