Integra DTR 5.6 Multi Media Amp Logo

Related Topics:

DTR-5.6 I picked up a Integra DTR-5.6 with Output issues. The guy I purchased it from took it to a professional. He was told both Zone 1 and Zone 2 amps check out. The tech said it was a software problem. Zone 2 works in stereo. Any ideas on how to get this baby up and running? I couldn't pass it up at $20. Not bad, even if it is just stereo, but if I can get her going right and proper I'd like to. I'm putting together a Home Theater for my parents as a Christmas present. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I basically just need a flash jig and a copy of the firmware. Can anyone help with this? I can build the jig if someone could hook up a schematic. I found the jig for updating a 805. Is this the same jig?

SOURCE: Low to no volume output from Integra DTR-5.2 receiver

most higher end integra's have a input level adjusment or input selection for each and every input. Perhaps you are not on the correct input, go to onscreen programming and check out the input level and input select - also try the tape in another input like tape 2 or cd. It will not hurt the receiver for a test. Also, if you are using the cheap cables from the manufacturer - try a pair of cables that you know work or go by some. BTW, you don't need to spend $40 for cables order them online through amazon or other store. Gold / sliver plated oxygen free are best.

SOURCE: We hooked up our Integra

Hello

The DTR-5.2 contains an internal microcomputer that performs
high-level operations
Reset the device to its factory settings. Before doing that check the following 2 items.

[1] Input selector may not set properly.
Set to correct input source

[2] Headphones are connected.
Lower volume and then disconnect headphones

To reset it to factory settings:
To reset the surround mode and other settings to the factory

default settings, hold down the Preset Memory button with the

DTR-5.2 turned on and then press the Standby/On button.

"CLEAR" appears in the front display and the DTR-5.2 enters
the standby state.
If this also does not help; service is necessary to your set. Contact nearest Integra/Onkyo authorised service center. This is not any component fault. A service only necessary. OK.

SOURCE: my integra dtr 5.6 receiver

hi,
As you have mensioned it should be power supply problem. You have to check the voltage regulators at it power supply satge. it should need a good electronics servicing skill to find out the exact problem. if you are not experienced in it, then i will prefer you to consult some one more experience in it for such a costly system.

Try the following

Via Net
Is it reasonable to assume your router requires password / ssid to secure internet access ?
Due to age of this device,
(1) Lower / disable current router security settings
OR
(2) connect device directly to modem. ( softest, easiest way )
This may require you to disconnect modem from router, reset your modem then connect cable direct between modem and DTR 40.1 device.
When completed, the Modem ( and Router ) may need be reset, prior to re-connecting network

My Bush BTU160DTR comes up with black & white picture only. The TV works properly when disconnected from the DTR. How an I restore colour via the DTR?

If the DTR is set to S Video out then it will give a monochrome piscture as the colour content is not being picked up due to the TV Receiver.
Re set the DTR to Composite Video Output.
