I have a Whirlpool MOD. RBS275PDB17 single electric self-cleaning oven; although the manual is generic, it specifies, "When the cycle is completed and the oven cools, "End" will appear on the lower oven display and "LOCKED' will disappear" and "To Stop Self-Clean any time: Press UPPER/OFF, LOWER/OFF or OFF/CANCEL. If the oven temperature is too high, the door will remain locked. It will not unlock until the oven cools." Has your oven had time to cool?

HI. This will indicate that the door lock mechanism is damaged. follow the procedure below to address further.
If the door is latched:
A. Disconnect power from unit.
B. Check wires and connectors from control to door switch, then from door switch to control. If there is no damage to the wires and all connectors are okay, proceed to step C.
C. Replace door switch.
D. Re-apply power.
E. Press and hold any key down for 1 minute to clear F5 failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.
NOTE_ This will, normally, lead to the replacement of the door latch assembly.

Hello,
Your oven has resetable high limit thermostat that tripped off on the self clean cycle,im not sure if you have free standing,or a wall oven if freestanding the t-stat is on back panel if wall oven its behind control panel on upper oven and for lower oven its behind the grill between bottom of upper oven and top of lower oven. In either case it has a small red button that can be pushed in to reset it
Hope this helps and if it does please give me 4 thumbs up
