I lost the power supply 4 my Astra 1220U scanner..volage is ? 6V?

if you can see the voltage and amp requirements either on the machine near where it would plug in or a manual then I have picked up the transformer at radio shack and they have a set of different ends to plug in on the DC side

It probably needs cleaning. I had a streaking problem with my UMAX 1220 and followed the instructions on this website

Remember to disconnect from the electricity supply!!!

Try this as I have re-worked the original software. Works on my UMAX 1220U scanner although I haven't proved the drivers for the other scanners. Iain

Ran across your request for information about the cables needed for hooking up the Umax Astra 1220U scanner. The scanner require a standard older version USB cable that hooks the scanner to your PC.
