Maytag Quiet Series 300 Dishwasher will only run part of wash cycle before tripping breaker?

Dishwasher on all wash modes except "rinse only, will run approx. 10 mins then kick off breaker. The drain is not plugged, there is no excess food around drain inside tub, dishwasher has a dedicated 15A breaker in entrance panel.

I'm thinking dishwashers is installed in correctly. Too low causing an issue. Have a tech look at it.

Bad breaker , or a short in the unit , replace the breaker

check the float switch on the righthand side on the bottom in the corner it should click and move freely

SOURCE: Dishwasher tripped our main circuit breaker.

It may be that your water pump is leaking on to the motor...

Find your circuit breaker for your dishwasher and turn it off for 3-5 minutes. Turn it back on, then turn on your dishwasher. If this works, after the complete cycle of your dishwasher, you have to turn it off manually by pressing "on" botton then press it 1 more time to cancel; this will turn off. The defect is, probably the moisture built up in the control board causing it to ground some of the connections. Suggestion for the manufacturer, insulate the control board to prevent absorbing moisture.

try running your disposal for a few minutes and then run through the rinse cycle. mine does this too sometimes and i just need to clean my disposal in my sink as some stuff gets caught up in it.

I have a Maytag Quiet Series 400 and I can't get it to run on Normal,lite or other. I get a code 82 that appears. What does this mean?
My Maytag quiet 400 series is doing the same thing-buttons aren't responding or working. And now a second problem...it has become very loud and sounds like it is chewing up all the dishes.

Hi, i had the same problem twice and both time there was some plastic stuff in the shredder. Remove the screw in the middle and remove the cap and you will probably find some pieces near the blades.
