When i turn the power on the lights on the front light up but nothing happens. i tried pressing caps lock to see if the caps light up but it doesn't. the screen is black. i feel the hd wineup and the dvd drive working but nothing on the screen. noteven a toshiba load screen. tryed external vga port and nothing. i replaced the ram cause a tech said it was bad and still nothing. please help... You need to hold down the FN button and hit F8, let go, then leave it for a couple of seconds and keep trying till an image comes up. and if that doesn't work, give it a try with all of the F buttons. OR you just have a broken laptop

nope nothing. i know that when u hit fn and f11 the light for the number pad posta stay on but it doesn't. any more reset buttons?

tried everything i could besides taking it to the shop. anything else? anyone? if no answer soon, ima take it to the shop and then i'll post the ANSWER! thanks yall. kyle
