After you get your camera installed properly, DO NOT unplug it from the USB port as it will cause the drivers to be corrupt and render the camera unusable till reinstalled it properly.

do you have software for the cam if so make sure the cam was not plugged in while you ran the software
try device manager see if a cam driver shows click it and updtae
if still having a problem then click and uninstall

according to the Genius website, MSN doesnt support the combo version (cam + mic). check in microsoft website for drivers that can solve it. you can also you this software recommended by Genius - "VideoImpression by ArcSoft "
