Get if the horizantal output transistor short.

The most common problem is convergance amp ic, but with out troubleshooting it's hard to pin point whats wrong.
The quick answer to you problem is critical in what your set was doing
prior to it shutting down. Do you remember it having a Color problem
like alignment of convergence? Was the sound cutting out on you? Or was
there part of the picture missing? If one of these then you could
eliminate time and money. To be honest you would save money DIY. You
also can call PTS at 18008447871 and get the price on Deflection board
or Large Signal, whichever has High Voltage Transformer on it and
price. This will save time troubleshooting
,
because it takes the knowledge of knowing voltages, components, etc.
Which require skills the average person may not have. Hope this helps!

I have philips rear projection tv 43pp85645. The sound is ok but no picture.
The screen remains blank with out picture or light. Please any body help me why this is happend and what part is to be replaced?
I have both sound and picture on my TV (philips 43pp8545) except that the picture and text is warped and doubled at the bottom and top of the screen. There are also red lines, some bent (bottom and top of screen) and some straight (middle of screen). Has anyone experienced this kind of problem with this model and if so, how did you resolve it?
