Even though my luxor tv is connected to a wireless network when I try to connect to the Internet it says no internet connection and that I should check the settings and Internet connection. All other wireless devises in my house works except for this tv

Most smart televisions do connect via cable. It is a much faster connection.

most likely on the keyboard you get on the screen in the left bottom corner will be an alternative symbol option key

if not you might have to change the bbid on the wi fi router and all your other devices connected to it by removing the underscore

It's possible that the wireless component inside has failed and most 'smart' tv's won't take/recognize external wireless adapters...especially if it's over 3 or 4 years old.

Since it has an internet connection, I'm sure you could buy a set of connectors that plug into a 110 outlet, one to the ethernet connection on the TV, one to a port on the router. Example:

If it says no connection then I assume you have none.

As far as I know there is only one Luxor TV model that has Internet access (Smart TV) and it comes with a wireless adapter/dongle. Plug the dongle in the USB port of the TV set and follow the instructions in the user guide on how to set up a network connection. Usually, from your remote, go to Menu, Settings and then to Set Up Network Connection. Please be aware that you need to have a wireless modem/router for your home network in order to be able to connect your TV to the internet.

you need to have a cable connected to the ETHERNET port and then you will get more options. You need to connect it to your router ports. hopefully you have DHCP enabled on the router and then all will program automatically

Try resetting the router--it did not assign an IP Address to the unit

Your wireless card is dead, replace.

Check to be sure that your network connections are set to automatic(control panel->network connections then right click on your wireless connection go to properties- tcp/ip click on that and check there.
