The washing machine seems to work no problem, washes, spins and empties. Yet when left for a while, I come back to open the door and it is at least half full of water. It did this once before, while still under warrenty, but stopped doing it just as I gave up trying to work out why and was about to call in an engineer. Can you help with ideas?
Do check your outlet filter, this requires periodic cleaning according to your usage. Refer to your user manual re cleaning filter.

I have the same problem. The drum is filling up while the machine is switched off. I think the hot water inlet is trickling water through the soap tray even when it is not on. Can I replace the inlet valve without calling an engineer?
SAME PROBLEM washing machine fill with water when not in use james
My washing machine fills up with water when not in use. It washes, drains, & spins, but then fill up again. I have taken the machine apart and cleaned everything and have no blockages or flow problems. I push drain/spin and then I am able to do a load of laundry.
I have the same problem. My washer keeps filling with water between loads. It's a big problem if I don't empty my washer as soon as the load is done as I have to re-spin the laundry.
