My copies come out with a half inch stripe across the entire width of tthe page. The large arange roller has a strip of black around it. I don't know if cleaning will help. If so, how do I do it? Thanks

The orange roller is probably contaminated from toner that is sticking partly to the photodrum in the cartridge. That roller is likely made of silicone rubber (heatproof) that presses the paper against the fuser roller to 'fix' the toner to the sheet.
I suggest replacing the cartridge and cleaning whatever is accessible before you put the new cartridge in.

Black spots on each page

A laser printer has its rollers (which I believe you said you cleaned...very important) and the cartridge you put in the printer has rollers too! Carefully check them and the wiper on the cartridge. If all of those things are clean, then you should get clean copy!

Large black horizontal stripe on copies from Canon ImageClass D760. Recently had ADF and rollers changed.

Sir,

If you place and orginal on the large glass and may a copy does the strip dissapear? If not it could be cleaning blade drum fuser unit? If the strip does leave then you have a problem with the docfeeder glass small long glass next to the big glass. Clean it!

My copier is making copies that have a big blank area

Hi, first if you mean length of the page, remove the ink cartridge and see if a piece of paper is stuck on the roller where the power comes onto the paper, in line with that white line on the copy.

Black line down the middle of scanned documents.

Try leaving the cover open and run a test scan, once with a fresh sheet as the item to be scanned and then a second time without anything on the table.  You may see what is blocking the light source or possibly a defect in it.
Scanning is done left-right, left-right across the width of the page and the vertical stripe indicates that the blockage is present during each scanned line.
In servicing copiers and multifunction machines, I have found a number of curious contaminents, one of the most annoying was a moth, still alive, that would randomly sit on the lamp, causing some pages to come out OK, others not.
If your copies and printouts are coming out fine, then only the scanner can be at fault.

Black vertical lines on faxes sent using auto document feeder

If you lift up the lid on your scanning device you will notice a glass strip about 1 inch thick and then the large area of glass used for flatbed scanning. The 1 inch strip is used for ADF scanning. Because your papper is moving across the glass strip, any dot, smudge or scratch will affect your scanning and cause verticial lines down the page. Sometimes the dot is not visible to the eye. Get some glass cleaner that has alcohol in it and thoroughly clean the glass strip and it should solve your problem. If it turns out to be a scratch on the glass then cleaning won't help.

Dark strip down center of page when coping from tray

There is a small strip of glass on the left side directly under the edge of the scanner, About a half an inch wide. It has something on it.
May be very hard to see, use a strong glass cleaner or some alcohol and a regular piece of paper to clean it with.

Copying with page feed results in a vertical line on every page

There must be a strip of glass about one inch wide, next to
the large glass. There is the problem !
Clean that strip thourougly. When you use the feeder the pages
are scanned thru the small strip of glass.

Scanning document leaves streak down right hand side

Even a single grain of dust or a single strand of hair on the scanning glass will cause the scan head to perceive ink/image where there is none. Deffinetly try cleaning the glass using a good window cleaner, and a cloth that is completely clean, or even a peice of newspaper. If the black line remains, I would suggest taking it into a service center to have the scan head itself cleaned.
