My acer a200 tablet keeps displaying an android on his back with his chest open and a red exclamation point triangle is coming out of it.

I bought an acer iconia tab a200 off of a friend who hasnt used it in a year. she couldnt remember the pattern lock that she put on it so it locked up saying too many pattern. I went online to see if there is a way to reset it to get to use it. I did a factory reset and it didnt work.the tablet keeps displaying an android on his back with a red exclamation point triangle coming out of it after doing a factory reset.

Hi,
Welcome to Fixya. I would like to know if the wifi works before? If the laptop was able to detect and connect to a wireless signal and the Iconia won't you can check the warranty of the Iconia and call acer and they will be able to replace the unit. This is a common issue with Iconia that some of the device has a hardware wifi defect. You can also refer to the link below and see what happen with their Iconia and was able to talk to acer for a replacement.

There is no need to enable the cookies in any browser whether its a android tablet or computer because the cookies is enable by default.

I have an acer iconia a100.... IIf your touch screen is un-responsive as well, it could be that you need a new LCD screen. That was the problem with mine. Thankfully I was still under warranty so Acer has covered the cost of fixing this. (Otherwise it would have made more sense to just buy a new one.)

Acer A510 Tablet, Forgot Password - This is from a Acer Tech and it works for this Model, good chance its the same for most Acer Tablets.

While OFF, Hold the POWER ON button in while also Holding the VOLUME BUTTON down at the same time and then slide the SCREEN ROTATION LOCK BUTTON back and forth about 20 times, then let go off all buttons and wait about a minute, don't touch anything during this period, it will then come back on, now is a good time to go to settings and

I have a klu by Curtis LT -1041-c screen went black can't get it to come back on.help tablet.

1. Make sure tablet is off.
2. Press and hold the "Volume Down" key and 'Power' key
3. When "Klu by Curtis" splash screen shows release the power key
4. A laying down android with cover open and a red triangle with an exclamation point will appear.
5. Rock the 'Volume Down' and 'Volume Up' and press the 'Power' keys to dislplay the BIOS screen.
6. Use the 'Volume Up/Down' keys to navigate choices (wipe data/factory reset) and the 'Power' key to select the choice.
7. The following screen will ask you to confirm your choice and warn you that this cannot be undone. Repeate step 6 to select your choice.
8. When wiping all data is complete, select 'reboot system now' to restart tablet.

On the screen with the Android, press the power and both volume buttons all together in quick intervals until a new screen pops up. Use the volume keys to select Data Wipes/Factory Reset, then do the same for yes, then restart the tablet

Coby has closed their doors. One of the solutions I found was to do a hard reset which restores the tablet to out of the box condition. To do so, hold the power button & the volumn down button until the android figure appears. He'll be on his back with an open panel on his chest with a red triangle above it. Press the 'back' button and a menu appears with options of "reboot system now', 'apply update from external source', wipe data/factory reset', 'wipe data partition', and 'apply update from cache.' Scroll up & down the list using the volume up/down buttons and select the option you want using the power button.

How to factory reset

Try this power reset. There should a power reset button near the charging port. It looks like a tiny hole. While plugged into the charger, use a paperclip to push the button inside this hole for 3-5 seconds. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it.

You may have to perform a reset if your tablet fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped. To reset your tablet use a small thin object (such as a paperclip) to press the recessed reset button.

Or do Clean Boot to restore the Acer Iconia Tab A501 factory default settings.

Open Settings from the application menu, then tap Privacy > Factory data reset.
Click Reset tablet and then Erase everything to format your tablet.
