Question about Canon imagePROGRAF W6400 InkJet Printer

Printer wont turn on

Hi I got a print head error message telling me that no prnt head was installed. It then printed the page but would not cut the finished page. I turned the machine off , it them displayed the shutting down message for 5 min but wouldnt shut down so I turned it off at the power point. Now it will not power up ??

For that problem may the printerhead have a problem may be your printerhead is overheated thats why you can't finish prinnting, try to pull out or remove the printer head and try to power on the printer if the printer is responced and power up again thats the time to change your printer head......

Please remove the printer head and fix again, my be any louse connection, that's way the error is coming.

Canon MP510 wont print. Error message B300 or

May I know the exact error messages in the printer screen. If it's green and yellow lights that are flashing you need to push more the two cartridges that you replace....also try to clean it using the printer program installed in your computer....good luck and hope it will help....

Printer made machine gun noise. will not print.

The print head is stuck - something has jammed it and the noise you are hearing is the carriage for the print head. Open the top and try moving the head by head sideways to see what has jammed it.

if yr printer is under woranty u need to do company services system coz i think that u do what as u abov say that u do a initial stape or if yr printer not on woranty and if u know a normal clining system do cline pritner otherwise u need to replace head...

if yr printer show red light blink do press 5sec. then print it..may be it's help u if u have any quary tell me feel free...

I think you need to check if the inkjet (print head/ Cartouch) is installed ok on the printer.
& Make sure it is the type supported by your printer.
I hope this was your problem.

Error message 5100 on Canon i560 printer

Hi You can Try
Same old errors
Error Code 5100
Solution 1:
Clean the timing strip.

Solution 2:
The purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) may be not lubricated well enough .

Lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps); this repair probably require to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism.

Nothing will print

5 times The print head is not installed [1401], or it is not properly installed (EEPROM data of the print head is faulty) [1403 / 1405]. Install the print head properly, and close the access cover. Or, with the print head installed, turn the printer off and on. This might help
