Maytag Neptune dryer error

The dryer starts up and runs for about 3 minutes then it shuts off with the error message "he" blinking.

after installing new belt, now the dryer only runs for about 50 seconds and then shuts off

could be the heater element, check for circuit with a test meter if it does not heat up in the minute it runs this is almost certainly your problem

sounds like u may have a motor winding going bad will usually run 20-30 minutes then shut off and if u run agin right away it will run 10-15 minutes and shut off agin. run an hour later and u will get 30 minutes or so agin? or u may have bad venting causing an over heating prob

Maytag neptune Dryer won't start. Get an error

reset the dryer .disconnect the power cord by 30 -40seconds, and try again, if the problem persist with the error, read you owner manual in troubleshootign section. or dwonload the owner manual for identify the error problem, can be problem a temperature.

I have a Maytag Neptune gas dryer that is approx 8 yrs old and has worked great as far as drying time. The gas will now light and stay on for 15 seconds and then shut off, in 2 or 3 minutes it will light...

to me it sounds like your venting going out side,if it doesn;t get a clear flow it will come on and off the thermastate inside sencing to much heat.try unpluging the vent then try it if it stays on then you know your answer

Maytag Neptune Dryer with strong "burned electrical wiring" smell

Sounds like the motor went out. Before trying to start it it needs to be inspected. If you are not comfortable opening up the cabinet then I would would recommend calling a service tech. If you need further assistance please let me know.

The heater element is not heating, they are fragile easy to get to at the back of the dryer. Check the thermal or overheat switch too, but would bet its the heater element.
