I have plugged my belkin box in bt it will not regiester... says i need vpi vci codes were do i get them.?

VPI and VCI codes are for broadband ADSL connections check this page out to see the numbers you need to set up, you also have to configure the encapsulation type according to your country's service, the encapsulation type is usually in the same settings page where the VCI and VPI settings are.

2wire 585 forgot password and need 2 config have no phone number to change password

f you don't know the system password for the twowire it has a factory reset button near the lan ports

* Hold down the reset button on the back for 30+ seconds.

* Upon releasing the reset button, the router resets itself to factory settings.
* Connect a computer to the 2700HG-B and browse to the URL http://192.168.1.254/
* Enter a new password, confirm it and enter a password hint at the bottom of the page, in case you forget the password.

* At this stage you might receive a "Page Not Found" error, but the password appears to be set successfully.
* ***************************
* To continue, manually browse to the url http://192.168.1.254

* Home Page (summary)
* Run System Setup Wizard

* Enter key code 5225 2374 WG62 22AS BJ7P (from http://www.2wire.com/?p=268) to set up manual config

* For most UK ISPs this will be

Zoom x6 router

Well for most zoom X6 routers I saw it's

http://10.0.0.2

That should take you to the main page. The manual is located here for X6 models.

http://www.zoom.com/techsupport/adsl/adsl_x6.shtml

In the manual it's on page 13. I would download a copy of the manual and read it as well.

Wont work

Does Big Pond and your new ISP dodo use the same values for VPI/VCI?

If not, you need the correct VPI/VCI for your new ISP.

Read the FAQ at DSL Reports on the 5260 and changing the VPI/VCI using EnterNet 300 1.5b or EnterNet 300 1.5c.
