Power button locked?

2007 monitor, 11 years old.
what lock? name it? the OSD menu button dead? why not say what is locked, or does lock mean dead screen./???

hold the button. down for 10 + seconds and release.(most mon./s)

no button lock on this model.
so what does lock mean,
power on the monitor it glows and shows a logo
and tells you there is no signal if the data cable is missing
if during (no PC) monitor power on , you press the OSD buttons
you will get a OSD menu, from the monitors cpu brain.
if not the monitor is dead.
many 2007 monitors up to 2010
have CCFL back lamp, and most are dead now.
end of life dead, the flash light trick proves this on an stuck black screen (see data, yes, CCFL are dead) RIP.

1. Try holding down the volume increase button and then hold down the power button until the tablet starts.

2. Look for a very small hole on the side of the tablet, usually near one or more of the input jacks, that you can put a paper clip in to push a reset button. If you have one of these (Check the manual too), try a hard reset by holding down the button under the paper clip hole and then the power button until the Android screen appears.

One of the common solutions from YouTube videos short of more drastic measures would be to hold the power button for 10 seconds.

If it has the iTunes logo and a picture of a USB cable then it has to be restored. If you're stuck at a lock screen or if it is locked out because of failed passcode attempts, then you'll have to force recovery mode. There is no bypass for this & you will lose all the data on the device. To force recovery mode, plug it in to the computer. Hold the home button and the power button at the same time. Keep holding until you see an apple screen. Release the power button but keep holding the home button. When you see the iTunes logo & USB cable you're ready to restore. This will set it up as new with no passcode. Any data you saved to your computer can be synced back.

hold the power button down all the way until the screen goes black. then reboot it it should solve the promblem

If u swipe from the bottom up, to get to the control center (or go to settings), is the orientation locked, or unlocked?

Hold down the play button, it will take a bit but it turns of the child lock
