I know...you've got this great camera and you thought "why should I spend extra money on a webcam when I can just use my amazing camera"? Well, sorry....it won't work as a webcam. Webcams aren't that expensive....treat yourself...go get one!

Of course you can connect the FUJIFILM FINEPIX S2000HD DIGITAL CAMERA .

The lens is having a hard time retracting out that is why it is giving you that error. Make sure that your battery is fully charged and if it is, but still does not do any good, then do this little trick:

1. Hold the camera on your right hand with the lens facing the ground.

2. As you press the power on button, tap or hit the camera's base to your left palm. Do this several times.

Chances are, there could be a sand or granule of dust that got stuck on the sides of the lens, preventing it to retract properly.

if memory card is not locked.... then i think ur card get corrupted... so u should replace ur memory card.....

If you are not able to find your connecting cable. and i am assuming your need is to transfer the data to comp. Well what you can do is you can take out the memory card and fix it into the card reader (you will get a card reader vey cheap anywhere.). and connect it to your comp. Now your card will work as a flash drive and you can transfer data easily then... Hope this helps you out.. :)
