No picture/ power button flashes twice constantly. 2 flash code?

Two probably solutions:
1.-- SSB need be replace
2.-- Convergence IC's need be replace.
You need to have electronic skills. is hard to do this work.
Be careful, try to find a TV shop for help.

Sounds like first loose connection on circuit board. I would first look around the relay this is what clicks. Then also the low voltage transformers. These problems are always concerns when set is moved or bumped hard. Try this first. Or it could be a heated issue.

Seems like it is overheating. Try cooling it down by using a fan to blow air into it (temporary fix). Make sure the TV is well ventilated and heat can escape (permanent solution).

These are both CRT type TV's(3 picture tubes drive the image) with different screen sizes and the CRT's are not interchangeable

4 Blinks means that an incorrect voltage had been detected on the +5V circuit coming from PSU to digital control board.
The PSU must be tested and eventually repaired or replaced.

hello dm beatty, First i must ask if you have anything placed on top of the tv? second what i would suggest is for a professional repairman to come and fix it. There are proceedures which you may do it yourself but if you were to mess up it would cost you a new tv. Vertical protection is what the two error code is. You can get a new Vertical output IC at the following link just leave them a email indicating your model number and what youre needing. They respond quickly.

sounds like the red CRT may be shorted.You can get a repalcement Red CRT at the following link for a very reasonable price. If your not sure which one your model uses. leave them a email with your model number of your set.
