Bebe Sounds Color Video baby monitor new interference problem

I have a Bebe Sounds Color Video baby monitor that has worked great since I purchased in in November 2007. Lately the monitor has been flickering pretty consistently as if it's experiencing interference. On the rare occasion it had interference in the past, we just moved it to a new location and it stopped. Now, the location doesn't seem to matter. Is it possible that the monitor is just aging or is it more likely we should just keep looking for the new source of interference? Thanks!

Hi Hollie

Maxi-Cosi do not produce adaptors for the carseats to fit to this manufacturers chassis. We would advise contacting the manufacturer of the chassis to discuss availability of adaptors and how to purchase.

Out of nowhere we get cracking it just started happening went on all night. tried everything figured we needed a new monitor got a new one and its still doing it help we love this monitor

Sounds like interference if its battery opperated try switching of your house electricity to see if it goes away, if it does turn everything back on one at a time until interference comes back, then by process of elimiation find the culprit.
I would be looking at items that use any sort of radio frequency, wireless devices, cell phones and wireless house alarm if you have one.
If monitor uses a power supply try batteries instead to see if that makes any difference, try a different power supply.

The monitor keeps making crackling noises

Try relocating the monitor to rule out external interference, if no the monitor will need to be checked for bad connections such as bad solder joints.

Hello, My summer flat screen, color baby monitor on/off button is broken. If I hold the button in it stays on but it will not stay on without being manually held in.

Hello jesslsch,
For a problem like this, there's pretty much 3 solutions.
1) You could grab a piece of scotch tape or some other adhesive and stick the button into the "on" position
2) Bring it to a local electronics repair shop to get it professionally fixed
3) Purchase a new unit
I hope this information has been helpful.

My monitor ( imonitor Digital Color Video Baby Monitor) only connects with the power turned on and the button pressed

Try rebooting the system, if it is within the warranty I would contact Graco or the store you purchased it in!

Philips Avent SCD520 Baby monitor interference

cold be intefernce from any other electronic device... potentially at a neighbours. even though mifddle of the night, could be microwave, kettle, electric blanmket, heaitng system, etc etc ... any appliance. If on the 2.4ghz wavelength could also be a computer wireless network nearby? good luck with finding and isolating - worst case, take it back and get one on the 1.8ghz ... which is reserved for these devices, and cordless phones, etc

Trouble with Bebe Sounds baby monitor

Make sure that your crib has a hard flat surface otherwise this could affect the sensor.

I agree that the Bebe Sounds Angelcare is a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it.

Static interference problem

The Graco digital iMonitor scrambles the signal as it travels between the monitor and the receiver, making signals nearly impossible to be heard by others.

I had good experience with this product, it didn't suffer from the static noise problem.
