How do I unlock the keyboard

My wireless keyboard is lock I need to know how to unlock it? Other online, email, search and go work fine but the main keyboard, F keys and number key do not work. What should I do to work. The thing I was doing prior to this is just wipe it and when I turn the computer agin it is not working.

    Thanks. I found that I forgot to put the cable (chip) back. I had to open again..I didn't there were two cables for the buttons on the black cycle and for the rest of the keyboard are different. Now it is working perfect.

    Neither the alphabetical letters nor the numbers work. The function keys such as battery check and standby mode work, but not the letters. I have taken the batteries out and reestablished the connections. I have tried it on two different lap tops. The model I have is the MX3000

Hi There If youyr lights above the Num Lock Button are on then i would serggest you try unplugging your key board and restsrting your PC when the PC pings the replace your keyboard and check that the lights are working by pressing the Num Lock Button this should let you use the numbers hope this works Paddy

Go to hardware settings there you will find your device with a question mark. right click on it and search for drivers. It will find them or ask for disk.

hit the reset button on the wireless receiver (oval button)
THEN
hit the small white reset button on back of wireless keyboard (it's called Connect Channel)
