SOURCE: I'm unable to adjust the volume on this turntable.

Before you replace the volume control just try spraying the contacts (or the whole thing if you can't get to them) with Servisol Video 40. As sometimes dirt and dust gets in an makes it sound like the entire sound is being cutt off yet sometimes breaks in as you turn the control!

I replaced my needle on my Crosley CR249. Now, there is a lot of static. Any idea what to check next!

The diamond tip on the needle is most probably been damaged. Check the tip for any significant visual issues with a magnifying glass.

My Crosley CR249 power light will turn on for a second and then fade black. Has anyone had this same problem and know how to fix it? Please ad thank you!

My guess would be a power supply problem. It could be that one or more of the smoothing capacitors is not charging up right. These are the large electrolytic capacitors located in the power supply section. They will stand out. There could be one or more of them with a rating of over 2,000UF. They will need to be replaced.

Crosley CR249 warped table

Sounds like you need a new platter. Has the platter worked OK before or has it always been like this?
I suspect you might have to contact Crosley to see who supplies parts.

I'm unable to adjust the volume on this turntable. I think if I replaced the volume control it would work, but I just can't find parts online for any of the Crosley turntables. Thank You.
