It may not be possible if seal is stuck to either surface. Best just open it first. If seal breaks, then either replace the seal if one available or replace the unit

Stanley flashlight keeps blinking like a strobe light how can I fix it
I assume it is an LED flashlight (you did not say). Cheap Chinese-manufactured LEDs will flicker in this way when they go bad. The condition is not repairable... you will need to replace the flashlight. (Save the batteries.)

Why wont my black and decker ultra bright spotlight stay on for more then 10 minutes ?


The batteries are probably no good or your charger is bad. But I say the batteries themselves are bad. All batteries will only last so long. And it also depends how often they are keep charged and discharged. Basically all batteries require some kind of maintenance (recharging / discharging).

Leave it on the charges as much time you can. Even though the charger indicates that is charged after 1 - 2 hours allow it to be on it as much time as you can (even 2 days). This procedures maintains the battery to be used more times.

How do I switch from strobe to constant light?
Depress the switch until light goes on but does not click on and then release just a little and depress again, light should switch to solid if it does than depress button all the way until it clicks on. If there is a high and low setting on the torch than make sure you are in high.

I have a stanley Ultra Bright LED Spotlight - I plugged it into the charger until the light turned "green". Unplugged it and went to use it and now the light flashes on & off constantly like...
Mine did the same thing so in desperation before disposing of it I did the following and it worked. I turned it on and while strobing, I locked it in place wanting to run the battery completely dead before recharging. It ran that way for about 45 seconds, it beeped and started working correctly. It may only be temporary, but worth a try.

I am having the same problem with one of mine. If I turn it down to low it will stay on. (press and hold the down arrow on the back of the light after you turn it on till it beeps, then it works forever).
