DVD cords We lost the plug in cords for our polaroid DVD player PDV-0701A a couple of years ago and have been to several stores to replace them. No one carries what we need. Where can I buy the car jack and wall jack cords needed to make this player work?

I'm performing online marketing for a large inventory of these players and have an excess of the ac and av cords for this model. If you reply to my email [email protected] we can probably work out a deal to get you back in business.

Well on mine the power supply is 9.5v @ 3A for the AC adapter
the car cable is just a 12 lighter plug and DC plug on the other end i.e. no electronics.
the audio cable is just a 3.5mm stereo computer audio cable and the video is also a 3.5mm mono cable
Only charge the battery with the 9.5v supply as per the instructions
note the in/out switch by the audio/video jacks for using as a player it needs to be in the out setting, in is to use it as a display from another video source.
any of the universal power supplies that fit and can provide 3A should work fine.
The polarity is marked
center pin +
outside shell -
on my power brick.

Polaroid Portable DVD won't work

First try a couple more discs. If it still doesn't work. Take a little bit of alcohol on a qtip and clean off the little clear circle under the lid. Make sure the dics you are using a not scraped and not foreign. If that doesn't work, order a new one and put the old one in the new box and send it back as broken.
