Question about ASUS P5VD2-MX SE Motherboard

No video output

Tried installing geforce graphics card to asus p5vd2-mx without disabling onboard graphics first like an idiot.refused to boot up afterwards so entered bios looking for onboard graphics but made no changes no we have no video output at all either frpom the new card or the old onboard graphics have powered off the pc totally for 10 minutes with no change to the problem now very confused and frustrated

Try this -remove the card then restart the pc (if this is xp) start/right click my computer/properties/device manger-look for "display adapters" find the onboard type you have and uninstall it power off then install the new card you might have to look in device manager for something referred to as graphics controller
