Fuzzy Picture I just installed a Logitech? QuickCam BUT the picture appears fuzzy and dark. I tried everything to make it clear BUT it still won't work! Please help. NEED IT IMMEDIATELY. Thanks.

A bit of fuzziness is expected especially when you move. How fuzzy depends on speed of your computer and the capture ability of the camera. I have quickcam that is 1.3 megapixel. Stationary objects are pretty clear, but all motion is fuzzy and distorted. Move slowly to help minimize the distortion. When using instant messaging or Skype, set camera to a smaller image size for faster compression and transfer.

logitech cams only work in UVC mode not drivers

unless you have 10.3.x software on the mac. then you can run 8.0.1 on the mac. otherwise you need to upgrade the cam.

What model camera do you have? Have you installed the latest device drivers for your operating system from logitechs website?
Is the picture quality the same on a different messenger ie: windows live/ yahoo? Try this and let me know.

the outer ring around the lens can be turned to adjust the focus

The camera lens can be focused by turing the lens from Left to Right. Sounds like this may be the problem. Hope this helps. Bud

Have you tried adjusting your resolution? To maximize the quality of video/picture that your webcam can capture, Turn the resolution into 1.3megapixel. Adjusting the resolution is by clicking the arrow above the Video Option. 

I can tell you how to fix it :D the white part where the lens is turn it ontil clear my dad did it for me its soooo clear! This is when its dark...

when using a video recording programme, the backlighting is normally automatically done for you but in live messenger you have to set the camera up yourself, as the fuzziness you are experiencing will probably be the lack of lighting in the immediate vacinity, so within the camera software before you go online, go into the settings and change the backlighting, most cameras have this option, also check the options in messenger, or make sure you are well lit around youself especially at night.
