80 ......... there is more to error code than just 80 please give full error code details for a useable solution .
eg 86:01 ( carriage motor transport error)
or 0c00340a is also a fault code
if you can supplye either full error code then I will attempt to help you resolve it thanks

The error code F28 means one or both of these parts are bad.
Motor Control Unit ,Microcomputer Machine Control Unit .
It would be a good idea to order both, as both components have been problematic for error code F28.

Please see the detail below for the said error code C:31:40
According to the symptom this show that there are two faults
1- Mechanical adjustment is out.
2- Head is durty.

Solution:
1- Mechanical adjustment is required of tape loading section.
2- Need head cleaning.
Please contact any expert nearby to yoy to fix the problem, because mechanical adjustment is not an easy task that's why prefer repair man.
