Does anyone know what to do with white wire on the back of boss audio system 7948B? it says camera 12v

IF you are not using the dedicated power connection for the camera, just tape it off and tuck it out of the way. As for the camera not working, have you confirmed that it is getting power through the backup light tap?

Help with wires

TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
On a few cameras I have had apart the black wire is negative and common ground, the red is positive, the yellow is video, the blue wire could be your infra red leds the white maybe audio
If your wires have just been cut then why can't you re-connect each wire matching colour for colour making sure you insulate them from each other?
I am not sure what voltage your camera works off? but some work from 5 volts and others 12 volts - 24 volts, older cameras may even work from mains voltage, so be very careful with what you are doing always switch off electric supply before making any connections.
(make sure your power supply is still ok after having wires cut it may of blown a fuse!)
Your best bet is to phone or email the manufacturer for advice.
The last resort take the camera apart and trace where the wires go to, then make a note and connect accordingly.
This may help to you to get it apart?
If you undo the screws on the back cover and loosen off the cable gland you may find that the camera will come apart and the insides will slide out there is usually a rubber seal around the joint of the back plate and main housing.
Once you have removed screws and loosened cable gland just gently prize apart.
If you can get it apart I would recommend you replace the cable with same type and keep connections inside the camera where they will remain waterproof!
I hope this is of some help to you
Best of luck!

Vtech kidszoom camera changed batteries turned it

Probably not, I have fixed several digital cameras by doing this. This is for a GE E1235 but screws and other stuff shouldn't be hard to find.

Well I decided to fix it my self.
1st: Take out all the screws (7 total) one is hidden under the av out cover. Make sure u mark all the longer screw heads and location with a marker so you know where they go. There were only to sizes so if you mark the longer ones you should be ok.
2nd slowly pull the back of the camera back (BUT BE CAREFULL, do not pull to far there are wires from the LCD and buttons to the camera.) Now there is a little tab on the main board holding the wires from the LCD to the camera. Flip it up and remove the LCD wires. After you do that push the LCD wires back in and flip the tab back down. Be careful not to damage wires or tab. Put case back together, put screws in where they go, and wallah. Your camera should work. If not try again, and make sure your properly putting wires in. If it doesn't work email me I will be making YouTube video for this soon. REMEMBER TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE YOU CAUSE!!!

Wiring diagram for reverse light

Splice the camera power wire into one of the backup light bulb sockets at the rear of the car. Make sure there is a good ground connection to the camera housing too. It's best to add a ground wire so there will never be a power problem at the camera.

Help me with back up camera for xo vision xod1740bt

I am just giving a suggestion. I too need to know how to wire this. From what you posted it sounds like you hooked the wire to a constant +12v that is always on. Forgive me if I am wrong. Anyway, Did you connect this wire to rear reverse light power. I think from what you say it is supposed to be connected to the positive side of that light. If this solves your problem can you PLEASE let me know the full details of everything else you hooked up on the circuit to make the backup work. For instance what is the label of the orange wire. TIA.
