I'm not sure how you're trying to view these files but assuming you've connected your camera to your pc and trying to view them by accessing them.
If so, the problem is that you're PC doesn't have the correct codecs to play your videos. The easiest way around this is to go to filehippo.com, download and install VLC media player. Excellent software and free.
to view on a pc you can use a usb cable.
the free software available now, is rubbish. if you have an older pc with movie maker, that's the best option. or you can go for a free trial. https://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.html
any loss of quality, you probably won't notice.
Youre going to need special software to do it. Pinnacle Studio is a good one. It will allow you to either plug your camera in and transfter the video that way or it will import the video from your minidisk.
1. turn it on
2. use cord.
3.move the on buttom to mode. it will show the recordings.
4. select a recording
5.press function butom. it will up bring several choices among "menu"
6. slect menu
7. it will give you all the chioces you need to title, finailize, protect and all needed to view the dvd
DVD-RWs can be initialised in either VIDEO mode or in VR mode. In your case you have initialised the disc in VR mode - hence the .VRO file extension.
VR mode allows you to edit the disc on the camcorder and is a newer format than VIDEO mode, which is the format used in most films, and which most DVD players 'understand'. VIDEO format cannot be edited on the camcorder, and can be edited on a PC. A VIDEO mode disc has to be finalised before you can use it on a PC.
Use VIDEO mode if you want to upload your video to a PC.
what the moi's exactly do, I don't know. What I do is copy the mod's, and rename them to mpg. Then view them with VLC-player(free downloadable from www.videolan.org). to copy sdcopy.exe is useful.
-Press ‘Play’ on the camcorder and review the footage on the 2.5” LCD screen
-Connect the DVD-Camcorder to your television using the supplied Audio/Video cables
-Download the file to your PC using the supplied USB 2.0 interface cable(not available on DZMV730A) and view it using a Windows MPEG Player application that supports DVD recording format (.vro file extension).
-Finalize a DVD-R or DVD-RW disc and play it directly through a home DVD player.
