The headset appears to be no charging anymore. When plugged into charger the red charging light does not come on. If turned on it stays on for several second (blue light) then flickers red for several seconds then nothing
I recently fixed my 955 headphones... it's probably not going to be attempted by most folks, but it saved a great set of headphones from being tossed and replaced.
Basically you need to remove the right side padding and take out the 3 screws. This gets you access to the battery. The battery is a standard 3.6V lithium battery. Pretty much the same that is in most cell phones and many small toys. You can simply replace the battery with something like:

Or... here's what I did... add a lithium USB charger to the battery.

Now, if the battery dies I can plug it into USB and the phone will work while it charges.
When you say the right side padding, do you mean the side with ehe mic or th eother one?
The original battery has an additional white wire which I believe is the thermistor wire to monitor the battery temperature. Since you seem to have installed a separate charging board and battery, did you have any issues with the headset not getting anything on that white wire anymore? In other words, did the main board of the headset under the left earphone care that it wasn't sensing anything on that wire anymore? Thanks for any feedback!

Turn on the wireless headset as soon as the HL10 lifter picks up the headset. Remember to press the call answer switch. A steady green light should come on the base and the wireless headset should have a small green blinking light on, on its side.
* Make sure your hand receiver is off the hook when using the headset. Also check that you hear a dial tone on the handset/hand receiver before turning on the headset.
