You can unlock your IPOD Touch passcode or password by following these simple steps.

• Connect your IPOD Touch to iTunes
• Press or Hold the power and home keys 10 seconds.
  
• Screen goes black, now release the power button
• Make sure you do not release the Home key until your iTunes says "We have detected an itouch in recovery mode."
• After this its simple all you got to do is a simple restore using your iTunes

According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the
IPod by doing the following:
Connect your IPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one
IPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the
computer, it will no longer be locked.
If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the
computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to
factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase
all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back
to your iPod.
If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated
with, do this:
1. Restore your iPod. Warning: The restore process cannot be undone.
All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of
your important data.
2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary
computer.
3. Open iTunes and synchronize.
Apple also notes that company "representatives cannot unlock an iPod if
you forget your combination. If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't
have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the
IPod, which will erase all music and data."

connect the ipod to system and when detected as a removable disk,goto ipod_control>device ,locate _locked and delete or rename the file....that will unlock your ipod

Allow the iPods battery to completely die and then fully recharge it. If it wont unlock then your displays touch sensitivity is not working and you may need to replace the display or it may be cheaper just to replace the iPod Touch

There is a little button at the top of the iPod. Just click it to the other side and that will unlock it.

Friend, try online unclocking. go to www.nokia-calculator.com dont worry the software supports SONY ercson. just choose your model and type the IMEI then press calculate then once given a code type in your phone and it will unlock.

my advice.. restore it, or try every number combination
there is. besides those, im not really a scientist on
ipods but thats what i'd do.
