unplug plug it back in, did you remove the protective cover and clean coria wire? http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/BSC/public/us/us/en/faq/faq/000000/000000/000065/faq000065_018.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=dcp7020_us
Well, I can tell you that on Microsoft's Notepad application, I changed the default font to Courier >Bold< and that seemed to help the problem for that application. Font looks like a normal font when printed on the DCP-7020 now. However this is, admittedly, a very limited solution, sort of last-ditch workaround. Haven't noticed the problem particularly with web pages. You might also try looking at the "Text" option. That helps sometimes..
I've seen a similar problem like that.
Turns out that the first page is not totally blank, take a VERY close look at the first page, is there a line line (hyphen) or a dot
( or something that looks like a period at the end of a sentence)
what happens is that no matter how small or insignificant it may be, it HAS to print out that doc.
or it is printing out a cover sheet, look in the manual and look to see if it has an option for cover sheets.
