Manual Feed When trying to print labels on my Laserjet 4 I get the message " MF FEED A4" ,(MF is flashing). Presumably requesting manual feed. Problem is I cannot see where to manually feed the paper. Any ideas welcome. Thanks

Press the first button on the left bottom side (shift) and meanwile the third button on the left bottom side (continue). And then it should do the job.

The manual feed door is on the front push and it should release the door, A4 is for Europe, although it will make the copy it will leave  a wide margin on the right. go to hte menu and change the setting to letter.

Printer TLP2824 thermal printer prints too many labels. Prints one and then spits two more out(blank).

Clean media sensors. The blank labels are a result of the printer trying to calibrate label length.

When printing from Word Perfect, the message MF Feed Letter comes up and I have to feed pages manually.

This means you send a printjob that needs "Letter" size and tray 2 is set to another size than "Letter". Make sure you set the papersize on the printer the same as the papersize of the printjob. Gerrit Jan

I have an HP 4V laserjet printer. It was printing fine until today. Both trays are full but it wont print. Form feed light is on, LC load letter message is flashing.

This is looking for Letter Sized Paper and presumably nit A$ that you normally use. This is usually caused by printing US documents and not resetting the paper size in the application before printing as the paper size will be embedded in the document in its original format.

Simply select the whole document and then reset the paper size to A4. You may need to check the document for lost images and tables but generally the text should be OK. Also the index and table of contents will also be affected as you will presumably have more A4 pages in the reformatted document that in the original.

It means "manual feed".

Just tell me how to reset printer into factory settings. I have tried it by LPT1 connection and commands sent from command prompt, but doesn't help. The problem is that printer after print request...

To reset the printer.
1) Turn printer off.
2) Hold down feed button whilst turning printer on.
3) Let go of the feed button as soon as it starts to flash and then wait.
4) Printer will measure out 4 labels then print out a Hex dump ending with a not to "Push Feed to Exit"
5) Push feed

Follow the above instructions, if you mess around tapping the feed button (not following the above) you can change the printer between line mode and page mode. To swap that back is another storey.
